Intensive Care
The intensive care unit at East Lincoln Animal Hospital provides life support to critically ill animals who typically are in need of intensive monitoring. Many patients needing intensive care are suffering from a serious medical condition or trauma, but some require it following a major surgery when they are too unstable for care elsewhere.
The intensive care unit is provided for patients in life-threatening conditions and who need continuous monitoring and support from equipment and medication to keep normal body functions going.
Pets in the intensive care unit at East Lincoln Animal Hospital will receive the best of care from our professional staff that has years of experience in caring for the most severely ill patients.
Medical Oncology
Receiving a diagnosis of cancer can be devastating news for anyone to hear. Approximately 1 in 4 of our pets will receive this diagnosis at some point in their lives.
East Lincoln Animal Hospital can help. Our goal is to provide top-level care for any pet with cancer, including performing advanced diagnostics, surgery, and administering chemotherapy treatments right here in our hospital. We also work closely with the area board-certified Oncologists to provide the best care possible for your pet.
Clinical Trials
East Lincoln Animal Hospital, in partnership with Animal Clinic Investigations, is proud to offer participation for our patients in clinical trials. We only participate in FDA-approved drug trials with medications that are in their final phase of testing and have proven safety records. Most trials are fully or partially funded, meaning they offer free exams, bloodwork, and treatments. Owners who enroll their pets will be expected to commit to bringing their pets for rechecks at specified times and provided scheduled documented feedback through a logbook or online app.
