Our Groomers, Nikki and Melissa

Nikki (left) has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2000. She was a veterinary technician for 5 years and has been a groomer since 2005. She has 3 dogs, 1 cat, 5 horses, and 1 gecko at home. Nikki enjoys spending time with her daughter, horseback riding, and making improvements to her new home.

Melissa (right) has been with East Lincoln Animal Hospital since 2004. She is a graduate of the Charlotte Academy of Pet Grooming in 1998. Melissa loves working with animals. When she is not grooming animals, Melissa is training police and search and rescue dogs (since 2001). She also is a search and rescue cadaver canine handler for Iredell county, NC. She has 6 dogs of her own at home and enjoys spending time with her three children. She loves hiking, camping, and horseback riding. Melissa is also a wildlife rehabilitator.

Melissa received the 2006 Iredell County Search Team Member of the Year award.
