Amanda DeMaster DVM
Dr. DeMaster grew up just outside of Raleigh, NC. She graduated from NC State University in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Microbiology, and in 2008 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State. After finishing veterinary school, she completed an internship in small animal medicine at Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine advancing her knowledge, experience, skills, and helping to teach veterinary students in the areas of internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. Upon completion of her internship, she moved back to NC, and worked in the Durham area for a year before moving to this area and starting at East Lincoln Animal Hospital in 2010.
Dr. DeMaster enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her areas of special interest include internal medicine and cardiology. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and spending sunny days on the lake. Dr. DeMaster lives in Huntersville with her husband, who is also a veterinarian. They have an energetic pitbull mix named Jasmine and a tolerant cat named Ruby.
Dr. DeMaster is an active member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, participating in many local continuing education meetings with other veterinarians from the area.
